A yearly system service is vital for maintaining the performance of your alarm system. Anchor Security Systems are able to carry out routine system servicing, usually done yearly, which is a requirement for many insurance providers.

A regular check of your systems will prevent system failure when you most need it, and is the best way to ensure your alarm continues to work efficiently. It makes sense, and costs less than breakdown repair charges, to have your alarm regularly serviced. What a system service includes:

• Check history of alarm system since last maintenance service
• Check mains power supply including charging rates
• Check battery power supply including charging rates
• Check and walk test all detectors
• Visual inspection of all major alarm components including cabling & connections, where accessible, for signs of deterioration or damage

• Check satisfactory operation of manually operated devices (e.g. panic buttons)
• Check and test all audible warning devices - sirens, speakers
• Check and test remote signalling equipment (where appropriate)
• Make adjustments as necessary
• Repair any minor faults (where possible)
• Retrain the users on the use of the alarm system (if required)
• Log all test results
• Return the alarm system to operational status
